Refund Policy
This policy applies to purchases of mdBoard commercial licences, subscriptions, services, sponsorships and certifications through Paddle or Accamoto e.K.
Commercial licences and subscriptions
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; cancellation stops the next renewal.
- Fees already paid are not refunded pro rata, except where required by law.
- One-time annual licences are not refundable after the licence certificate has been issued, except for duplicate charges, non-delivery or statutory rights.
- If a licence cannot be delivered, contact us and we will restore access or refund the affected payment.
Services, audits and certifications
- Scheduled workshops, coaching, audits and certification assessments may be rescheduled with at least 14 days’ notice.
- Cancellation inside 14 days may forfeit the fee where preparation or a reserved slot has already occurred.
- Prepaid services expire 12 months after purchase unless stated otherwise.
- Certification fees are not refundable after the assessment has started. Retake fees are separate.
Sponsorship and supporters
- One-time and recurring supporter payments are voluntary support payments, not donations.
- Sponsorship fees are non-refundable once recognition has been published, except for non-delivery or duplicate charges.
- Event sponsorship cancellation terms are stated in the sponsorship agreement.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a 14-day withdrawal right for digital purchases where the statutory conditions apply.
How to request a refund
Email contact@mdboard.com with:
- the order reference or Paddle transaction ID;
- the e-mail used at checkout;
- the reason for the request.
We aim to respond within 10 business days. Approved refunds are returned through Paddle to the original payment method. Paddle may also be contacted directly as merchant of record.
